What is "New Hope"? It’s the gift New Hope Counseling & Resources wishes to give everyone who walks through our doors.
For more than 30 years, Wib Newton- the founder and director of New Hope – had served in the local church, where he experienced the intense demands counseling needs can place on a church staff. In September of 2007, he opened New Hope Counseling & Resources to help alleviate this pressure on church leadership, and to provide a place for church members to have a safe, confidential setting to discuss the serious and confusing issues confronting them.
New Hope was created with three basic purposes in mind. First, to provide affordable, professional counseling that is unashamedly, Christ-centered. Second, to come along side of churches to assist the pastors as they deal with the complex, mental health issues of their congregation. And third, to provide educational opportunities for seriously dating, engaged and married couples in an attempt to help stabilize marriages.
